SLO Police looking for robbery suspect

San Luis Obispo Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a convenience store. It happened at around 2:20 am on Monday at the Circle K in the 100 block of Higuera Street. Police say a man took an 18-pack of beer from the cooler and ran outside. When the clerk ran after him, police say the robber stopped and told the clerk he had a gun. The clerk went back inside the store and called 911. The suspect is described as being in his 20s, 5'8" tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and red shorts. Police say he left the scene in a gold-colored, 1990s full-size pickup truck.
