Behind a team-high 17 kills from senior Ariel Becker, the San Luis Obispo girls volleyball overcame an one set deficit to beat Righetti 3-1 in a key Pac 7 League match on Tuesday night.
The Tigers won 23-25, 25-19, 25-21 and 25-23 to claim sole possession of second place after the league finale at 9-3 in league. The Warriors, who beat SLO earlier this year, dropped to 8-4 in league and earned the third seed for CIF. In previous year, the second place team received a home match for the first round of the CIF playoffs.
