After more than a month of counting up the numbers the final totals are in for this year's Renaissance Festival. Organizers say nearly 5,000 people came out for the event on July 16. That is a 30 percent boost from last year.
It was held at Chorro Regional Park in San Luis Obispo, or as it was referred to for the weekend, "Donnybrook, England."
We have to throw some credit to Meteorologist Dave Hovde, organizers tell KSBY News they think his live weather forecast may have had a little something to do with this year's numbers.
