It's not a big change, but The San Luis Obispo Vintners Association is updating it's identity a bit. It's changing its name to the San Luis Obispo Wine Country Association.
The association includes 30 wineries in San Luis Obispo County from Edna Valley, Arroyo Grande, Santa Margarita, Pismo and Avila Beach. The name helps the group brand itself as the regional group representing it's regions wineries, similar to how the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance represents the wineries in Northern San Luis Obispo County.
The association will also be partnering with the SLO Farmer?s Market Association to have a presence at the Saturday morning market. On the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of the month, you will now be able to purchase local SLO wines while shopping for produce and local products, adding to the farm to fork lifestyle of the Central Coast. Also on the horizon, the association will be launching a new website with the name change and branding at the first of the year.
