SLO volleyball wins win 4 set match with Atascadero to stay in second

The San Luis Obispo High girls volleyball team earned sole possession of second place in the Pac 7 League with a 3-1 victory over Atascadero on Thursday night.

The Tigers won 25-13, 21-25, 25-22 and 25-11 to improve to 6-2 in league play and 18-7 overall. Atascadero dropped to 4-3 in league and 14-8 overall.

Ariel Becker led the Tigers with 10 kills, while Maggie Eppright dished out 33 assists. Erin Good led SLO with 20 digs in the victory.

The Greyhounds were led by 13 kills from Sophia Guerrier, while Mary Kate Evans tallied 7.

San Luis Obispo stayed 2 games behind first place and undefeated Arroyo Grande. The Eagles won 3-1 over Righetti. AG improved to 8-0 in league, while Righetti fell to 5-3.
