SLO Wine and Grill Affair pairs mental health with community support

An event this weekend supports mental health in our community through the work of Transitions-Mental Health Association.

The non-profit serves 2,000 people in both San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.

It teaches vital independent living skills and provides housing, employment, case management and life-skills support to mentally ill adults, at-risk youth and homeless adults.

The event is Saturday, June 5, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Perbacco Cellars in San Luis Obispo.

It is a wine and grill affair with the best food and wine paring from local restaurants and wineries on the Central Coast.

Tickets are $40 at the door.
