A wind advisory is in effect until 7 am Wednesday for the Southcoast and a high wind warning is in place for the Santa Barbara county mountains.
Northwest to north winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph will continue through early Wednesday morning. The strongest winds will occur below passes and canyons and in the hills.
Gusty winds will make driving hazardous especially for high profile vehicles.
