The St. Joseph High football team climbed five spots to #3 in the latest CIF Coaches Poll. The Knights, who've won five in a row, are ranked #3 in the Northern Division. Arroyo Grande fell three slots to #7 after falling to St. Joe last Friday. The Eagles are 4-2 overall.
Lompoc football remains the top ranked team in the Western Division. The Braves crushed Templeton last week 42-3 to improve to 6-0 overall and extend their state-leading winning streak to 26 games. Dos Pueblos, which is 5-2, is tied for 10th this week in the Western Division.
The Mission Prep Royals are still ranked #1 after their bye week. The 6-0 Royals return to action this week at Grace Brethren.
In the 8-man football ranks, Coast Union is tabbed 7th in Division 1. Cuyama Valley is ranked #3 and Valley Christian is tabbed #7 in Division 2.
