Carlton Hotel restaurant closed after state pulls permit

The restaurant and lounge at the Carlton Hotel in Atascadero has been closed due to the state pulling its seller's permit. A spokesperson with the city of Atascadero says the permit was pulled on Wednesday. As to why the permit was pulled, the State Board of Equalization does not have to release that information.

On the Carlton Hotel's website, a message is posted that says the restaurant and lounge is closed temporarily.
