Stolen jet ski found in Monterey County

The investigation into a stolen jet ski continues after it was found in Monterey County Friday, one day after it was reported stolen from the Seaview Inn in Grover Beach. Grover Beach Police say someone called the owner of the orange and blue 2012 Ski Clinic Bob Gen3 Jet Ski, which is valued at $10,000, letting them know it would be left on the side of the road near San Lucas Road and Highway 101 in Monterey County where it could be picked up. The owner called Grover Beach Police, who made arrangements with the Monterey County Sheriff's Office to recover the jet ski. Police say several engine parts were missing from it. Three men in a newer model white Ford Ranger stole the jet ski from the Inn early Thursday morning, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to call (805) 473-4511 or Crime Stoppers at (805) 543-STOP (7867).
