Stolen vehicle arrest near Cuesta Grade

You may have heard helicopters near the Cuesta Grade Wednesday evening that's because the California Highway Patrol says it was trying to stop a man driving a stolen vehicle.

The CHP says the vehicle was stolen from Daily City.

Officers zeroed in on the car in the southbound lanes of 101 and were able to pull it over near the bottom of the grade near Reservoir Canyon Rd.

They arrested the man behind the wheel for grand theft and driving under the influence.
