LOS ANGELES (AP) - Traffic is moving again on Interstate 5 in the mountains north of Los Angeles after heavy snow forced an early morning closure.
The California Highway Patrol allowed vehicles to resume travel over Tejon Pass at midmorning Wednesday when conditions improved.
The shutdown of the major route connecting Southern California and the San Joaquin Valley was one of several highway closures caused by a winter storm that moved through the state Tuesday and overnight.
