Scattered rain and snow showers will continue into the early morning hours but diminish.
Gusty winds and cooler temperatures will follow the passage of the cold front into Wednesday.
Temperatures will remain below normal for the week with a slight increase by Friday.
Winter weather advisories were extended into the early overnight hours for the mountains of SLO and SB county. High surf and gale conditions are expected Wednesday and a wind advisory may be needed to cover Wednesday afternoon's winds which could exceed 30mph.
Details on those advisories can be found on the live weather scroll here the website and on the Trueview 6 weather app for iPhones and Android devices.
