The first storm of a one-two punch will be winding down overnight into early Thursday then we'll get a break until a much more powerful storm looks to arrive late Thursday into Friday and linger into Saturday
The second, strong low could produce winds of 20-30mph with gusts to 50 of higher Friday morning into Friday afternoon along with periods of heavy rain which may last through into Saturday morning. Total rainfall amounts on Friday into Saturday will range between 1 and 4 inches. Higher amounts on southwesterly facing slopes where up to 6 inches of rain could fall. All totaled, 2-5″ (or higher) amounts could fall into Sunday. There are numerous advisories for these storms, the best way to follow those are to download the Trueview 6 weather app and/or check out KSBY.com.
