Stroke survivors are invited to take free golf lessons with pros as part of a rehab program

Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and the American Heart Association call all stroke survivors to the greens next week for an event called 'Saving Strokes.'

At no cost, it promotes stroke rehabilitation through lessons with golf pros that will be fun while improving strength, flexibility and balance.

A free, heart-healthy lunch is also provided.

It is open to all stroke survivors in all stages of recovery. Equipment will be provided to those who need assistance.

The event takes place Tuesday, June, 19 from 10am- 1pm at Laguna Lakes Golf Course.
