The Central Coast commonly experiences a broad transition in the weather pattern during the fall, and that's what we're experiencing now. After rain and clouds to start the week, clear skies and warmer temps will finish it.

High pressure is building to the east as well as offshore winds which will arrive on Thursday. This combination will push temperatures into the upper 70's and low 80's through the weekend with plenty of sunshine.

The winds will be quite gusty, Wednesday evening through early Friday morning. This is especially true for the South Coast, where there is a wind advisory in effect through Thursday night. Wind gusts could reach 45 mph and 60 mph in the foothills and mountains.

Be careful if you're driving on the highways, especially the 101, 154, and 192.

Have a great Thursday!
