Santa Barbara students will soon have the chance to show off their artistic talents.
Students from Franklin Elementary School created a 13-foot-wide mural on one wall of the newly remodeled McDonald's on Milpas Street in Santa Barbara.
The students worked with champion surfer Lakey Peterson and mosaicist Betsy Gallery to create the artwork.
A ribbon cutting will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 9.
The art program at the school is fully funded by an anonymous donor.
