Students at Fesler Junior High School in Santa Maria learned about bullying on Thursday.
Workshops were presented by Family Fuel. It's a non-profit organization that works to strengthen the community by teaching educators and parents how to raise respectful children.
Fesler Junior High hopes to discourage bullying. They are working with parents, teachers, victims of bullying, and the bullies themselves.
Students took part in interactive assemblies where they learned how to respond to a bully. Teachers were also trained.
