Kids drawing on walls isn't always a bad thing. Students at Tunnell Elementary School in Santa Maria are getting creative with paint.
They're painting a mural on a wall on campus. The wall once had tiles in the school's yellow and blue colors that were damaged over the years.
The kids decided to remove the tiles and let their creativity flow.
Roxanne Shankland, a teacher at the school told KSBY News, "It taught them cooperation because we had to narrow down so many good ideas the kids had."
The students paint on Fridays as part of a reward program. Those who have completed all their work for the week get to help paint the mural.
