Cal Poly Students are staying up late Wednesday night, but not to study, or party.
It's for a fundraiser called Up 'Til Dawn.

The event is a letter writing campaign to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Students will go to Chumash Auditorium between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and send letters to family and friends, asking for donations.

Envelopes, letters, and stamps are provided. Students are encouraged to bring addresses with them.

There will be free T-shirts, food, and a raffle for students who address at least seven envelopes.
