New research finds students who suffer a concussion need a break from sports and school in order to fully recover.
The latest study from Children's Hospital Boston looked at more than 300 student athletes who suffered a concussion.
Researchers found those who didn't take a break from school work took, on average, 150 days to recover.
Those who cut back on homework and online activity recovered in 20 to 50 days.
Researchers say the study adds to evidence that concussion patients benefit from both cognitive and physical rest.
