Study finds many stroke survivors start driving again without an evaluation

More than half of stroke survivors return to driving, but only five percent go through a formal driving evaluation before they get back on the road.

In a new study, researchers looked at more than 100 stroke patients.

One in 10 who returned to driving said their stroke significantly impacted their ability to perform day-to-day activities.

About half of those who started driving again said they limited their time on the road.
