A new study proves the glass might really be half empty. It finds wine drinkers who limit how much they pour are less likely to overindulge.
Researchers asked a group of college students and staff to pour themselves an amount of wine they considered normal. Those who had a rule to only pour half a glass at a time, poured 20 percent less wine overall than people without set guidelines.
Overweight and obese men poured more than men in the normal weight range, but BMI had no effect on how much wine women poured.
