An analysis of a group of post-menopausal women finds there is a small percentage of women in which chemotherapy does not work.

Researchers examined the results of genetic testing called Oncotype DX. Women who had low scores had little to no benefit to chemo, while chemotherapy had major benefits women with higher scores.

Figuring out which cancer cases would not be affected by chemo could save woman money and the harsh side effects of treatment.
