It's that time of year again, people are gassing up the cars, the RV's and heading out on their summer vacations.
Adding to the joy of hitting the road, or at least taking the sting out of filling up -- gas prices.
They're falling and analysts predict the prices to continue to fall to below three dollars by September.
According to AAA, San Luis Obispo County's average price for a gallon of gas is $3.98.
A month ago, it was $4.40.
In Santa Barbara County, the average price is $3.96, that's also down from a month ago, from $4.38.
The San Luis Obispo County Visitor's and Conference Bureau said those prices are expected to drive up tourism this summer.
They're already reporting a strong spring, and hope the trend continues through the summer season.
At Pier Gifts in Pismo Beach, an employee also told KSBY they started seeing tourists arrive before school was even out.
On Friday,a steady stream of visitors with cash in hand, were buying souvenirs from the Central Coast.
