The Central Coast will start the week with lots of sunshine and mild temperatures. We'll top out in the low 70's for the coastal valleys, mid to upper 60's along the interior valleys and beach communities. Overnight lows will remain chilly inland, only reaching the mid 30's.

This will last through Tuesday.

On Wednesday we'll have a change in the weather pattern when a cold storm system will move into the area, bringing with it the strong possibility of rain Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. We'll only reach the low 60's and upper 50's for daytime highs.

Mostly cloudy skies will remain through next weekend when another storm system could follow the mid week showers.

Have a great Monday!
