The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department has released surveillance photos of a recent robbery at a CVS Pharmacy in the Goleta area, in hopes that it will help them catch the suspect.

It happened around 5:25 a.m. Friday, July 9, in the Turnpike Shopping Center on the 100 block of South Turnpike Road.

Deputies say the suspect handed the cashier a note, demanding money. He then took the money and left the store. No weapon was seen and no one was hurt.

He is described as being in his mid-twenties, 5'10" tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing pants, gloves and a long hooded sweater with the hood pulled over his head and string drawn around his face.

Anyone with information should contact the Sheriff's Department at 805.681.4150, or the anonymous tip line at 805.681.4171.
