Officers track a burglary suspect by a clue he leaves at the scene of the crime.
It happened near Golf Ball Lane and Pomeroy Road in Nipomo.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's say they responded to a burglary in Guadalupe, and found a receipt left behind by the suspect.
Based on the address on the receipt, deputies tracked down the man who tried to drive off when he saw authorities.
After a brief chase, officers arrested 38-year-old Jeremy Carlos Madrigal. He is currently being held on $25,000 bail.
