San Luis Obispo Police say that one man was trapped between two cars after a chain reaction involving a suspected drunk driver.
Gabriel Payne, 39, of San Luis Obispo, was driving his red Toyota 4-Runner southbound on Augusta, when he ran into a parked car Thursday morning. That car was pushed into another vehicle, where Brenner Harris, 52, was sitting on the back. Several people who saw the crash ran to free Harris, after he was trapped between two cars.
Harris is recovering from non-life threatening injuries to his leg.
Payne was arrested for felony DUI, and will be booked into county jail.
