Officials with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office say the Arroyo Grande man accused of robbing a Santa Maria Bank last month has posted bail.
Arthur McClay Watkins, 55, is accused of robbing a Santa Maria Wells Fargo Bank at gunpoint on November 16.
Shortly after the holdup, Watkins was arrested as he was trying to leave the scene, according to police.
Watkins is a board-certified family and marriage therapist who practiced out of the Five Cities area.
The charges against him include armed robbery and burglary.
At his November 19 court appearance, Watkins' bail was set at $100,000 and he did not enter a plea.
Sheriff's officials say Watkins posted bail and was released from custody on December 18.
He is due back in court next month.
