Downtown streets and businesses are back open after a suspicious device was found at a San Luis Obispo business Wednesday morning. Authorities say the device has been removed and it will be taken to an off-site location for further inspection and possible detonation. The San Luis Obispo Police and Fire departments, along with the San Luis Obispo County Bomb Task Force, were called out to the 1300 block of Chorro Street around 10:00 a.m. after the device was found on the doorstep of a business there. Authorities are not saying what the device was or releasing any information about it at this time. Authorities are conducting interviews and the incident is still under investigation.
