He walked in wearing street clothes and didn't even sign up for the contest, but Cody Rodino of Sylmar High left the gymnasium at Allan Hancock College with the flag declaring him the National Prep Classic's Slam Dunk Contest winner Friday night.

The 6-0 senior guard threw down two power jams to earn the fans' pick as slam dunk champion.

Westchester High's Emilio Ariza, a 6-5 junior, was the judges' top pick.
