DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) - Syria's state-run TV says more than 40 people were killed when two strong explosions ripped through the capital Damascus.
The blasts Thursday morning wounded 170 people. The government has blamed terrorists.
An Associated Press reporter at the scene said medical workers were collecting human remains from the streets after the explosions. Heavily damaged cars and pickup trucks stood smoldering in the area.
