Erica Evans hit five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 29 points to lead the Taft College women's basketball team by host Allan Hancock College 57-51 on Tuesday night in a non-conference game.
The Lady Bulldogs dropped to 0-2 on the season under head coach Max Meyer.
Freshman forward Kendall Scott led the Bulldogs with 12 points. Santa Maria High graduate Jacquelin Oani and Pioneer Valley High grad Davina Valerio added 8 points each. Justine Roland of Righetti added 7 for the Lady Bulldogs.
Hancock is coming off a 9-17 season. The Bulldogs dropped their season opener 71-61 at West Hills last week. Roland led the Bulldogs with 28 in that game, while Valerio added 14.
