It was a beautiful weekend to be out in the park with your pet, and that's exactly what dozens of families did, as part of A Dog's Day on Sunday.
The 21st annual event hosted by SLODOG-- Santa Lucia Open Dog Obedience Group-- celebrates responsible pet ownership at Santa Rosa Park.
"What we're trying to show people, is all the wonderful things they can do with their dogs when they're trained," said Cindy Decker, of SLODOG.
From Flyball, to the Rally Obedience Course, dogs and their owners showed off their control and skills.
They are talented, but also caring. Many of these pups also serve as Therapy Dogs. They bring those puppy-dog eyes, and a little joy to care facilities around the Central Coast.
Now in its 21st year, A Dog's Day has grown with more vendors, activities, services and participants than ever before.
