Taste of Downtown and street chalk art this weekend in Paso

It's all about good food and wine these days. Makes sense. It's harvest season and it's California Wine Month.

Wednesday, San Luis Obispo will celebrate Taste of SLO in Mission plaza, and then this Saturday, Paso Robles will do the same.

City leaders say 15th Annual Taste of Downtown promises a superb culinary and artistic experience. With the purchase of the $25 Taste of Downtown ticket pass, you get to sample the creations of more than 43 local restaurants, a brewery, wineries, ice cream and coffee houses.

Downtown Paso Robles also will host the 11th Annual Arte de Tiza on Saturday, Sept. 15th. The Paso Robles Art Association chalk-art celebration will offer a visual feast of chalk murals created by area artists on the sidewalk of Pine Street between 11th and 12th streets. Artwork will be in progress beginning at 8 a.m.

Taste of Paso begins at 11 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the Paso Robles Main Street Association free holiday promotions events.

For more information, or to purchase a Taste PASS visit the Main Street office, at 835 12th St. Suite D. or call (805) 238-4103.
