Lompoc's Ainuu Taua had two tackles and a sack for the West team at the US Army All-American Bowl on Saturday. The game in San Antonio, Texas was televised on KSBY.
A number of the players in the all-star game announced what college they'd be going to next year but Taua had already committed to UCLA.
The 6'0", 285-pound defensive tackle hunted down the quarterback outside the tackle-box on the final play of the game for the West teams second sack. The West beat the East, 28-6.
Taua had 21 sacks during his three years on varsity at Lompoc High School. He helped the Braves win three Los Padres League titles and a CIF championship.
