Teachers and school district officials in Paso Robles were unable to reach an agreement Tuesday night to resolve the current bargaining impasse, despite a meeting with a state mediator, the Paso Robles Public Educators union said in a news release.
Teachers and the school district were unable to compromise on furlough days, teacher salaries, and medical benefits, the union said.
The union requested the next step in the process to be a fact-finding investigation.
