There was a tearful surprise at Friday night's football game at Morro Bay High School.
Seven year-old Haylee McGregor was just finishing a cheerleading routine when she heard her father's name announced over the stadium loudspeaker as he was welcomed to the game.
She was shocked because he's a petty officer in the Navy Reserves and has been serving in Afghanistan and hasn't been home for seven months.
The night was even bigger for McGregor; his wife Shannon had a baby while he was overseas so he also met his three month old son for the first time.
