The 17-year-old boy who was hit by a car in Atascadero yesterday afternoon has been identified as Blair Hutchinson.

He was initially taken to Twin Cities Hospital for treatment but has since been transferred to Sierra Vista Hospital. Officials there say he is in critical condition in the intensive care unit, suffering from a fractured skill, broken leg and broken rib.

Officers say a yellow Saturn hit Hutchinson just before 3:15 p.m. yesterday in the 5500 block of Traffic Way, after the teen darted into traffic, possibly after some dogs.
