Santa Maria students in need will now be able to get clothing and supplies for free at the Teens Closet.
The Santa Maria Joint Union High School District has teamed up with the Children's Resource Network to open an on-campus free store for students.
The store at Santa Maria High School is stocked with clothing, school supplies, books, and baby supplies for teen parents.
Many high school and college student groups donated gently used clothing to the store.
A free traveling clothing store was also showcased at Friday's unveiling. The mobile store offers free clothing for small children.
The Children's Resource Network also announced its new clothing hotline. Families in need can call the hotline and get free resources.
