We've seen a lot of morning cloud cover over the Central Coast and even the interior valleys with a deep marine layer. Well, high pressure will start to build on Wednesday and that'll change the temperature situation. Highs today will only be in the 50s and 60s at the beaches with 70s at the coastal valleys and low 80s inland.
Wednesday we'll fewer marine clouds and where they form they'll also clear more quickly. But can't rule out a few spots of overnight marine drizzle at the beaches and near coastal valleys.
What is interesting about the high pressure building is how quickly the interior warms, 80s today with low 90s Wednesday and Thursday. We should near 100 by the weekend.
I don't see a heatwave at the coast however, there will be enough marine influence to keep most temps in the 80s and beaches actually on the cool side thru the weekend.
