Texting and driving serves as a grim reminder for a local family

The latest incident of texting and driving in San Luis Obispo over the weekend serves as a grim reminder for one local family. They believe the practice is to blame for the death of their son. Eric Okerblom was killed while riding his bike in Orcutt after a woman struck him from behind, killing him last July.

Katelin Edwards, 20, pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges but has not said what caused her driving distraction. KSBY's Monica Quintero will have more on this story on KSBY newscasts.
