As Halloween approaches, you may be looking to get into a creepy frame of mind this weekend. Here's a good bet to speed the process...
On Saturday afternoon, the San Luis Obispo Public Library is screening one of the scariest movies ever made--William Peter Blatty's tale of a possessed girl. At the time, it was a scandalous sensation that kept audiences sleepless for years in the '70s. The film is rated "R" and may be too intense for some viewers.
"The Exorcist" screens at the SLO Library on Saturday afternoon at 2.
The movie's free of charge and so are the refreshments.
It's part of the library's, "Me Decade: The '70s in Film" series.
