The latest "cash mob" hits Hemp Shak in San Luis Obispo

The "Save Our Downtown" group in San Luis Obispo planned their second "cash mob" this evening at Hemp Shak. Hemp Shak is a local business that features local organic products (most but not all made from hemp, the industrial fiber version of the marijuana plant), they also sell clothing and feature art consigned by local artists.
The "Save Our Downtown" group used social media to get people to come out and spend money in non-box store saying that dollars spent on local businesses have a more meaningful economic impact.
KSBY meteorologist Dave Hovde was at the "cash mob" tonight and found out how effective the effort really is, he also presents the details on a very windy forecast for Tuesday in this video clip.
