Easter is coming up on Sunday, but some local celebrations started on Saturday.
The 12th Annual Easter Extravaganza was held Saturday morning at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach.
The event was free and included games, bounce houses, face painting, crafts, food, and a 12,000 egg Easter Egg Hunt.
The Easter Bunny also came out for the occasion.
"We have more vendors this year, and we've also added more amenities just because of the mass quantities of people. We've added bounce houses, and we've made the egg hunt twice as big as last year," said Colleen Ghiglia, an event organizer.
To make sure all the kids had a fun and safe time, the Easter Egg Hunt was split up into separate times for different age groups.
Organizers say at least 2,000 people came out for the event.
