Santa Barbara police officers arrest three medical marijuana dispensary workers for illegally growing and selling the drug.
Investigators say they served search warrants at The Healing Center and Pacific Coast Collective Wednesday morning. They say they found evidence those dispensaries were acting as illegal marijuana dealers. They say the search of those two facilities lead them to other residences in which those arrested owned.
In all, officers say they seized 45 pounds of marijuana, 12,000 marijuana plants, one-and-a-half pounds of hashish and $8,000 in cash.
Juan Solis, the owner of The Healing Center, was arrested for growing and selling marijuana for sale and criminal conspiracy. The co-operator of that business, Sinthia Martinez, was arrested on the same charges. Meantime, Charles Restivo, the owner of Pacific Coast Collective, was arrested for growing and selling marijuana with the intent to sell.
