Three sent to the hospital after early morning crash

An early Friday morning crash in Goleta sends three people to the hospital.

It happened on Northbound Highway 101 off Gaviota Beach Road. The CHP says the driver of a Chevy Trailblazer lost control of the vehicle, causing it to rollover. One passenger suffered major injuries. The driver and another passenger suffered moderate injuries.

Officers say they don't believe alcohol played a role.
