Three separate accidents cause slow commute for early morning drivers

Three separate accident slowed morning commuters through Shell Beach and Pismo Beach on highway 101 Northbound.

Around 8:00 Wednesday morning the California Highway Patrol was on scene of at least three reported accidents.

The first crash happened around 7:45 a.m. near Spyglass Drive off ramp. CHP says one person suffers from minor injury. This accident resulted in the closure of one lane.

The second crash happened around 7:50 a.m. near Shell Beach Road, there were no reports of injuries or lane closure due to that accident.

The third crash was reported just after 8:00 a.m. near Wadsworth Avenue off ramp, the CHP reported no injuries at that crash.

Traffic slowed to less than 5 MPH through the areas.
