Three local soldiers will arrive home tonight into the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport on the same flight just in time for Independence Day.

One of them is Templeton High School graduate Kurtis Iaia who has been serving in Afghanistan with the 172nd Infantry Division.

Everyone is welcome to the celebration at the airport at 9 p.m. to give these troops a big welcome home.

The organization Welcome Home Military Heroes will supply the flag and posters.

They will also present them with a specially made and autographed flag.

Yet another solider is scheduled to arrive into the airport tomorrow afternoon.

He is a Paso Robles High School graduate and is also returning home from a deployment in Afghanistan.

His flight is scheduled to arrive at 4:28 p.m. July 4.
